Do you work on a retained or contingent basis?

Most permanent roles are well suited to a retained (committed) approach. Interim assignments tend to be contingent. This is something we can discuss when we've a better idea of what you're looking for.

Do you have a "sweet spot"?

Yes. With over 60 years’ HR recruitment experience between us, we are best known for recruiting CPO, HRD roles and roles on their teams. Base salaries tend to be between £80,000 and £250,000.

What levels do you operate at?

We tend to recruit candidates for roles paying salaries between £80,000 and £250,000.

Can you help me hire a slightly less senior candidate?

Yes. We have a trusted Associate, Bill Dudman, who has recruited candidates for many of our clients. Please contact us for more details.

What are your fees?

Our fees are fair and transparent and priced according to the work involved. Once we understand your needs, we can advise.

How do you resource an assignment?

We have a truly collaborative approach with one Director overseeing each assignment and then pulling on the knowledge and network of everyone in the team (many other recruiters work in silos). The Director who takes the brief delivers the full client and candidate experience. We don’t delegate the assignment to more junior colleagues.

Can you help me hire an HR interim?

Of course. If you need someone to "hit the ground running" while you're waiting to make a permanent appointment or you have a specific project that needs some focus, we can help.

Can you help me assess my internal talent alongside an external campaign?

Yes! We are used to engaging and assessing internal candidates. Please contact us for more details.

How do I register my details with you?

Because we’re a niche business, we can't "register” every candidate who contacts us. However each email we receive is reviewed by one of the Directors, and if we feel we can support you with a career move, we'll aim to arrange a more detailed career conversation.

We've recruited into over 400 roles since 2011, We're based in the North West however assignments have covered the North East / London / South East / South West / Midlands / Scotland / Wales. Internationally, we've covered roles in Eastern and Western Europe, the US, Africa and the Middle East.

What makes your approach “unique”?

Quite a lot! Because we're small and niche, every Director is involved in each assignment. By pooling our 60 plus years of experience, you get the combined knowledge of us all, on every search. Unlike traditional “search only” headhunters, we use on-line advertising alongside market mapping and executive search. And finally, as an owner managed business, reputation and track record is everything to us. However hard the assignment, we don't give up.
